Sloe Noon is Anna Olivia Böke – a singer and guitarist who blends the sounds of both countries she’s called home. Influenced by British alternative rock and the Ruhr area’s krautrock pulse, Sloe Noon has carved out her own sound: guitar-driven pop, alt-rock, and shoegaze. Her name is owed to a visit to a chip shop in her former student home Brighton playing around with fridge poetry magnets on the walls. Later combined with a sloe gin nightcap offered at her nan’s, things were all set. In 2022 she released a self-recorded EP called ‘Liminality’ via British Tastemaker label Dalliance (Francis of Delirium, HighShool) whilst venturing onto her first tours and festivals across the EU and UK in 2024/25, building up to most recent queues outside their Left of The Dial (NL), Mutations (UK) and Reeperbahn (DE) sets. In the fi rst half of 2024 she followed up with a triptych of singles collaborating with producer Theo Verney (English Teacher, Lime Garden), fi nishing them off as EP 'All Feelings, No Technique' released in May 2025 with two additional tracks produced with her brother Josh. Sloe Noon is getting ready to release her next EP recorded with Michelle Hindriks (Ciel) early 2026 containing her most authentic and gritty music yet, taking them on tour across Europe and going overseas to the states for the first time.
